Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Punjab’s Adampur air base early this morning. He was briefed by the Air Force personnel on the security situation at the base and also interacted with the jawans. Adampur was one of the four key Indian Air Force stations reportedly targeted by Pakistan on the night of May 9-10, in response to India’s Operation Sindoor. Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the Adampur Air Base carries significance, coming after Pakistan’s claims that it had inflicted damage on the base during its overnight counter-strikes.
