The Indian Air Force has commenced evacuation missions from Jordan and Egypt in response to heightened tensions in West Asia. Under Operation Sindhu, 162 Indians have safely crossed over to Jordan from Israel, with more expected to follow. The IAF is using C-17 Globemaster aircraft for large-scale evacuations, bringing Indians back to Delhi.
