Three terrorists, including the mastermind of the April 22nd Pahalgam terror attack, have been neutralized in a joint security operation named ‘Operation Mahadev’. The swift operation took place in the forested area near Dachigam National Park, a region described as a strategic access point to South Kashmir. One of the slain terrorists has been identified as Sulaiman Aka Musa, also known as Musa 4G, the most wanted conspirator behind the Pahalgam attack with a 20 lakh rupee reward on his head. He was also linked to other attacks in Sonmarg and Gulmarg. The operation, a combined effort of the Indian Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police, comes four months after the attack. Speaking on the operation, Lieutenant General Soni stated, "whenever we make up our mind to catch a terrorist, we don’t let it go… I think a truly commendable job."
