📍 EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND — While former U.S. President Donald Trump played golf at his luxury Turnberry resort, hundreds of protesters filled the streets of Edinburgh, voicing anger over his visit, foreign policies, and trade deals.
⛳️ Trump, joined by son Eric and U.S. Ambassador Warren Stephens, hit the greens — but 100 miles away, demonstrators rallied outside the U.S. Consulate, accusing him of enabling war in Gaza, neglecting climate change, and pushing pro-corporate trade deals with UK PM Keir Starmer.
🪧 The protests were smaller than the massive demonstrations during Trump’s 2018 visit, but the “Stop Trump Coalition”, a broad group including pro-Ukraine activists, climate campaigners, and Palestinian rights supporters, made their voices heard.
