Speaking exclusively on India Today’s India First, Noreen Niazi, sister of jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, claims her brother has been held incommunicado for over four weeks. Niazi describes the current political climate as the ‘darkest time’ in Pakistan’s history, comparing the crackdown to Hitler’s Germany. She alleges Khan is in a ‘death cell’ and warns Army Chief Asim Munir that ‘if they think that by killing Imran Khan they will be saved, they will not be saved’. Niazi also condemns the alleged police brutality against women and PTI supporters, asserting that the public will eventually rise against the ‘oppression’.
