A major political change is expected in Bihar as Nitish Kumar is reportedly preparing to step down after nearly two decades in power.
Preparations are underway for a smooth transition, with a swearing-in ceremony for the new government scheduled at Lok Bhavan on April 15 at 11 AM. Before stepping down, Nitish Kumar will hold his final cabinet meeting and recommend dissolution.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal (United) will hold separate meetings, followed by an National Democratic Alliance meeting in Patna to announce the next leader.
The ceremony is expected to be simple and low-key as political parties manage the transition carefully.
