He underlined that armed forces halted their strikes on Pakistan as the objectives had been fully achieved. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi led the Opposition’s charge, questioning Singh did not detail how the terrorists entered Baisaran Valley in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam and killed 26 people. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar hit back at the Opposition, saying its MPs were "hyphenating themselves" and ensured TRF, the group behind Pahalgam attack, was declared a terror group by the US.
