New Delhi Railway Station Stampede And Its Possible Causes
Many passengers reportedly fell unconscious after a stampede-like situation emerged at the New Delhi Railway Station on Saturday. According to reports, the incident occurred on platforms 13-14. As many as 15 people are reported injured. There are reports of many people falling unconscious due to suffocation after overcrowding at the platform. The incident occurred as a large crowd gathered at New Delhi Railway Station for the Mahakumbh, with many passengers having no confirmed train tickets.
New Delhi Railway Station Stampede News LIVE: Delhi’s caretaker CM & AAP leader Atishi says, "Those who lost their lives, their families have been informed. It’s a sad incident. Our two MLAs are here. I have asked hospital management to let our MLAs know if any of the victim’s families need any kind of help. 4-5 patients will be discharged soon… 15 people were brought dead to the LNJP hospital, and the same number of injured are also admitted here…Two of the bodies are yet to be identified."
