NCW came out in support of Lt. Vinay Narwal’s wife, Himanshi, who has been subjected to online trolling over last week. NCW condemned online trolling of Lt. Vinay Narwal over her remarks supporting Kashmiris and demanded unity within the country. Taking to X, the NCW stated, ‘The way Ms. Himanshi Narwal is being targeted on social media is extremely reprehensible & unfortunate’. Earlier, Himanshi Narwal had appealed to citizens not to direct hatred towards Muslims and Kashmiris following the Pahalgam attack. Lt. Vinay Narwal, a naval officer, was among the 27 killed in terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22. Vinay had recently tied the knot, with his wedding reception held just days earlier on April 16.
