NASA has officially selected Dr. Anil Menon for his first space mission aboard the International Space Station.
He will serve as a flight engineer for Expedition 75, launching in June 2026 on the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft.
Menon, a physician and mechanical engineer, is the first Indian-American astronaut since Sunita Williams.
With a background at SpaceX and the U.S. Space Force, he brings a unique blend of experience.
His mission will support vital space research for future Moon and Mars exploration.
