Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Wednesday awarded Namibia’s highest civilian honour, the ‘Order of the Most Ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis’, during his official visit to the southern African nation. The award was conferred by Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah in recognition of Modi’s contributions to strengthening bilateral ties.
