An aspirant expressed their frustration, stating, ‘Hum form hi nahin bhar payenge toh hum paper hi nahin de payenge. Phir is tarah toh hamare saare sapne hi adhoore reh jayenge.’ The delay, with the last exam held in 2017, means many hopefuls now exceed the 33-year age limit for the unreserved category. Despite a 2022 promise of a three-year age relaxation which has not been implemented, the government is facing pressure. Adding to the urgency, BJP MLA and former minister Usha Thakur has written to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, demanding an age relaxation of at least five years before the application deadline passes.
