An overwhelming 64% of respondents felt elections in India were free and fair, while 32% felt otherwise, according to the India Today-CVoter Mood of the Nation survey. The numbers are significant at a time when Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and the opposition have accused the Election Commission of colluding with the ruling BJP to steal elections.
