Relentless rains have caused widespread disruption across India, with the 2025 monsoon season showing significant regional disparities. While heavy downpours have triggered a flood-like situation in states like Madhya Pradesh, leading to the overflow of the Sindh river in Shivpuri district, other areas are grappling with rainfall deficits. In the village of Bhadota Chak, locals report that rescue operations are proceeding slowly. One resident, Rajpal Singh, stated, "The rescue team is working very slowly now… It has been about 35-36 hours now. They are not able to reach there. Neither are their food and water available." The severe weather has also led to the suspension of the Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir. In contrast, the Delhi NCR region recorded its cleanest air for July in a decade. The Indian Met Department predicts that erratic weather, including heavy rains and gusty winds, will continue over the next few days. #monsoon2025 #indiarains #floods #mpfloods #shivpuri #floodrescue #amarnathyatra #jammuandkashmir #delhiairquality #weatherupdate #imdalert #climatechange #indianmonsoon #sdrf #ndrf
