The discussions addressed the long-standing border issue, with the Chinese side affirming that it "shouldn’t be a problem affecting the bilateral ties." The leaders also focused on enhancing economic connectivity, people-to-people exchanges, and collaboration within frameworks like the SCO and BRICS to tackle global issues such as trade protectionism. The resumption of direct flights between the two countries is also anticipated soon.
