Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on both the LDF and UDF during a rally in Kerala, accusing the rival fronts of labelling each other as the BJP’s ‘B-team’. Modi stated, ‘LDF and UDF have also agreed that if there is a single team in the Kerala elections, then it is only BJP.’ He alleged that both fronts are afraid of the BJP because ‘if the BJP comes to power, then the truth of all their evil deeds will be revealed.’ Modi accused the LDF and UDF of decades of corruption and claimed their governments ‘never investigate each other’ but only give ‘false statements’. He promised that a BJP government would investigate all frauds and bring justice to the people of Kerala. The Prime Minister highlighted increasing support for the NDA in Kerala, saying the youth now have faith in the BJP and that the ‘turn of Kerala has now become a movement’.
