The second phase of voting for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, covering 26 seats across six districts, began at 7 am today and will continue until 6 pm. Security measures have been intensified in key constituencies such as Rajouri, Poonch, and Reasi, areas that have recently experienced an uptick in terror-related incidents. More than 2.5 million voters are expected to cast their ballots, determining the outcome for 239 candidates, 79 of whom are contesting in the Pir Panjal region of Jammu.
