India has approved a major leap forward in strengthening its military capabilities. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has given the green light to eight key proposals totaling a staggering Rs 54,000 crore including upgrading India’s main battle tank, the T-90 tanks, and procuring anti-submarine Varunastra torpedoes.
