An India Today ground report from Eshtiol, a small settlement in the Beit Shemesh region of Israel, documents the aftermath of an Iranian missile strike. The attack left two major impact craters, with one creating significant destruction across the residential area. Around seven people are reported injured at the site. The missile impact smashed dozens of cars, shattered house roofs, and reduced entire structures to rubble. Despite interception efforts, missiles carrying warheads of over 100 kilograms landed in the region, with cluster ammunition causing extensive damage. The strike destroyed boundary walls, displaced massive boulders metres away from the crater, shattered window panes and unhinged iron doors. Emergency response teams rushed to the site to assist victims and document the damage. The report highlights that despite assurances of dialogue and diplomacy, the conflict shows no signs of de-escalation, with repeated alerts and sirens continuing to blare across the region.
