In a hard-hitting interview, Mehdi Hasan, founder and editor-in-chief of India Today News, sharply criticised US President Donald Trump and his foreign policy decisions.
Hasan described Trump as an “imperialist-style” leader who does not care about international law. He argued that the aggression towards Iran is a “weapon of mass distraction” from domestic economic problems and the Epstein files controversy.
Hasan also claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly influenced the push toward conflict with Iran.
In a shocking allegation, Hasan said the US mistakenly killed its own preferred replacements for Ali Khamenei during early bombings. He further pointed to the alleged abduction of the Venezuelan president as another example of what he called lawlessness.
Hasan noted that, unlike past wars, a majority of Americans remain opposed to this conflict.
