Massive Indian Military Drill Near Sir Creek Sparks Tensions | Exercise Trishul
India has begun its massive tri-services military exercise, Exercise Trishul, near the Pakistan border close to Sir Creek. This unprecedented drill involves the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, and is being conducted from October 30 to November 10. Satellite images show the reserved airspace extends up to 28,000 feet, highlighting the scale and seriousness of the operation.
The exercise aims to demonstrate India’s joint operational capability, Atmanirbharta (self-reliance), and readiness across land, sea, and air. Troops will carry out offensive maneuvers, amphibious operations, and multi-domain exercises, including cyber warfare, electronic warfare, and intelligence operations.
The drill comes after Operation Sindoor, which targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan, and follows warnings from Defence Minister Rajnath Singh against any misadventures in the Sir Creek area. Pakistan has reacted with airspace restrictions.
