Two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.7 and 7.2 on the Richter scale have struck Myanmar, causing widespread damage in Myanmar, Thailand, and parts of China. Buildings have collapsed in Bangkok, with a 30-story under-construction building in the Chatuchak area falling and trapping approximately 43 people. Emergency services are conducting rescue operations, and the Bangkok governor is rushing to the site. The Thai Prime Minister has called an emergency meeting in response to the disaster.
