Indian stock markets opened in the green, with the Sensex and Nifty soaring despite an ongoing tariff war. The markets appeared to shrug off negativity, entering a "wait and watch mode" coupled with caution. According to Sharendra Bhatnagar, chief analyst and editor of Markets Business Today, the positive opening is driven by value buying as the market is at a three-week low. He stated, "today’s the last trading session of August, which essentially means a lot of mutual funds and equity schemes will be doubling themselves over to buy and improve the market so that their monthly net asset value improves."
