Speaking about the TMC delegation meeting the Election Commission regarding the SIR in West Bengal, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that TMC leaders look worried about losing power. He claimed that this is why they are opposing the SIR.
He said TMC seems unsure about their own work, and people are not supporting them. He also said TMC is afraid that illegal voters they allegedly added might be removed, or that real voters might now register properly.
Manoj Tiwari added that the SIR is an Election Commission system, not a government system. He said that people will understand that those who oppose the SIR are supporting illegal infiltrators and illegal votes.
