Manipur Violence News | After ethnic clashes, civilian deaths, and violent protests, a new act of violence ignited outrage in Manipur’s Leimakhong village. A contract worker in the Army employed at 57 Mountain Division was abducted while working in Leimakhong village, Imphal. Hailing from Silchar, Laishram Kamalbabu went missing from inside the military garrison at Leimakhong on November 25. A week has passed with no trace of him, sparking outrage among the civilians. In a recent turn of events, Kamalbabu’s wife Laishram Belarani led a massive protest at Leimakhong on Dec 1.
