Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday intensified her attack on the Election Commission outside its office in Delhi, alleging bias and lack of transparency. She claimed that the poll body did not allow outside cameramen during the meeting and was functioning under the direction of the BJP. Banerjee further alleged that nearly two crore names had been removed from the voters’ list, calling it a serious assault on democracy. Asserting her mass support, she said she could bring lakhs of people to Delhi to protest and parade them before anyone if required.
