A significant train accident has occurred at Kavarapettai, on the outskirts of Chennai. The train, en route from Darbhanga to Mysore, collided with a stationary freight train, causing the derailment of nearly 12 coaches. Despite the severity of the accident, no fatalities have been reported. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and other teams are currently on site, conducting rescue operations. The passengers affected by the accident have been transported to various locations for medical attention.
