Security forces have conducted a successful operation against Naxals in Chhattisgarh, killing 28 extremists including top leader Nambala Keshavrao alias Basavaraju. The operation, described as one of the most successful in decades, targeted Naxals with a combined bounty of 183.5 crore. This comes as part of the government’s push towards a ‘Naxal Mukt Bharat’ with a deadline of March 2026 set by the Home Minister.
