Maj Gen GD Bakshi On Why Trump’s Pause on Iran Strikes Is Just A Bluff | Arnab’s Debate
US President Donald Trump announced today that he has given the Defense Department instructions to halt all airstrikes against Iranian energy infrastructure and power facilities for five days. While he claimed that it was due to US and Iran having " good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution" of hostilities, Iranian State Media announced that no such talks had taken place.
During The Debate With Arnab, Major General GD Bakshi claimed that the ceasefire is a ploy by the US to figure out what other warfare to use against Iran. Additionally, he pointed out that this is the third time Trump has offered peace talks, without a proper outcome, calling his announcement today a bluff.
