Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke at the Mahila Kisaan Sammelan on Mahila Kisan Diwas. He said India relies on villages, villages rely on farmers, and farming relies on women. Women are not only farming but also leading as Praodh Sakhi, Krishi Sakhi, and Bank Sakhi, thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance. They are contributing to manufacturing and food processing too. Over 2 crore women have become lakhpatis through this initiative, and the goal is to help 3 crore more women achieve this.
