This report details a lynching incident in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. A 21-year-old man, Suleiman Khan, was battered and killed by a group. The victim was chased from a cafe and assaulted near his home. Family members spoke about the injuries on the victim’s body. The victim was dragged by a mob to a vehicle and taken to different locations for assault. Police state that "Six iron rods and bare hands were used to assault the youth." He was declared dead on arrival at the Jalgaon District Hospital. Four assailants have been arrested in connection with the case. A search operation is underway for six additional individuals involved in the incident. Police have formed multiple teams to apprehend the absconding accused and are investigating the reason for the incident.
