This comes as the tenure of the previous government ends and the suspense continues over who will lead the state next. Speculation is rife that Devendra Fadnavis may be the next Chief Minister, but the BJP top leadership has yet to make a formal announcement. Shinde will also be leaving his official bungalow, Varsha, which is the designated residence for the Chief Minister.
