A Judicial Commission has arrived at the Maha Kumbh Mela Kshetra in Prayagraj to investigate the stampede that occurred on 29 January. The commission, set up by the Uttar Pradesh government, is tasked with submitting a detailed report within one month. The team, headed by retired Allahabad High Court Justice Harsh Kumar, will examine the causes of the stampede, assess crowd management, and determine accountability for the incident that resulted in 30 fatalities.
