Prayagraj is set to host the third Amrit Snan on 3rd February 2025, coinciding with Basant Panchami during the Mahakumbh Mela 2025. The Uttar Pradesh government has made elaborate arrangements following the stampede on 29th January. Investigations continue into the incident, with police analysing data from 16,000 cell phones and using facial recognition technology. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Mahakumbh site and met injured devotees.
