The Mahakumbh 2025, the world’s largest spiritual gathering, commenced on Makar Sankranti with the first Amrit Snan. Over 1.38 crore devotees took a holy dip at the Sangam by 10 am. Thirteen Akharas participated in the event. The Kumbh, held after 12 years, expects over 40 crore attendees over 45 days. Devotees from India and abroad are participating in this celebration of spirituality.
