The Mahakumbh 2025 has officially begun in Prayagraj with the Paush Purnima snan. An estimated 60 lakh devotees took a holy dip at the Sangam on the first day. The 45-day spiritual festival coincides with the first anniversary of Ramlala’s Prana Pratishtha in Ayodhya. Devotees from India and abroad are participating, with 13 Akharas organizing events. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to all visitors.
