A fire broke out at Sector 19 of the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. Twenty fire tenders were dispatched to control the blaze. Initial reports suggest no casualties. The fire affected approximately 500 tents in a camp housing 700 people. NDRF and SDRF teams are on site assisting with firefighting efforts.
