The Prayagraj Mahakumbh is witnessing a massive turnout with approximately 8 crore devotees present. Yesterday, 5.5 crore pilgrims took the holy dip. Some devotees were seriously injured in a crush at Akhada Marg. The administration is working to ensure safe bathing for all. Prime Minister and other officials are monitoring the situation. Authorities are urging pilgrims to use temporary ghats to reduce congestion at Sangam.
