Akhadas have resumed the Amrit Snan at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj after initially cancelling it due to a stampede that killed over ten people and injured more than fifty. The decision to continue was made considering the large number of devotees who had gathered for the auspicious Mauni Amavasya. Authorities have increased security measures, including deploying mounted police and water police, to ensure safety during the holy dip.
