The Akhara snaan at Kumbh Mela is set to resume following assurances from the administration about crowd management. Uttar Pradesh police are using helicopters and artificial intelligence to map and manage crowd density. Thirteen Akharas will perform a symbolic snaan, with the usual pomp scaled back due to an earlier stampede. Police are clearing pathways and diverting crowds to less congested areas to facilitate the procession.
