Nicolas Maduro Capture: Global Community Calls Out Donald Trump’s International Anarchy At United Nations Forum
During an emergency open meeting of the UN Security Council on Monday, representatives of several nations vehemently denounced the U.S. military assault on Venezuela and urged Washington to uphold international law and the UN Charter.
In the early hours of Saturday, U.S. armed troops attacked and bombed Caracas and other sections of Venezuela, forcibly removed President Nicolas Maduro and his spouse, and detained them in New York.
U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that his government would now "run" Venezuela and even hinted at starting a second wave of even more extensive military operations, which has stunned the international community and raised grave worries across the globe.
