The Madras High Court has severely criticized the Tamil Nadu police over a recent custodial death case. The court questioned why the autopsy report was not submitted to the magistrate and why no FIR was filed in the jewel theft complaint. It also asked who authorized the case transfer to a special team. Five arrests have been made in connection with the custodial death.
