A U.S. military refuelling aircraft has crashed in western Iraq during ongoing operations linked to the regional conflict. U.S. Central Command said the incident occurred in “friendly airspace”, adding that two aircraft were involved in the event, with one going down while the second landed safely. Rescue operations were launched after the crash, and officials said the incident was not caused by hostile or friendly fire.
At the same time, the Israeli military said Iran fired a fresh wave of missiles toward Israeli territory, triggering air-raid sirens and interceptions by Israeli air defence systems.
The developments come amid escalating hostilities between Iran, Israel and the United States across the Middle East, with missile attacks, air strikes and drone operations continuing across multiple fronts.
