US President Donald Trump stated that the current US-Israel campaign against Iran, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, may last up to four weeks as planned. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he noted, "It’s always been a four-week process… It’s a big country. It’ll take four weeks—or less," while asserting US strikes have probably taken out 48 top Iranian commanders.
The comments follow heightened clashes, with joint US and Israeli assaults on key Iranian sites reportedly killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other officials, according to Tehran media. Iran hit back with missiles and drones on US- and Israel-linked bases, fueling fears of a broader Middle East crisis.
