In a significant development, Jammu and Kashmir police have recovered arms and ammunition from terrorist hideouts in Imam Sahib, Shopian. The seizure includes one pistol, one magazine, two grenades, five pistol rounds, and 20 AK-47 rounds. This operation is part of the ongoing Operation Sindhu across the Kashmir Valley. Six terrorists have been killed in recent encounters in South Kashmir’s Shopian and Pulwama districts. Two identity cards were also recovered, and efforts are underway to identify the individuals.
