Narender surrender,’ and Modiji said ‘yes sir.’” Gandhi contrasted this with the Congress party’s legacy, citing Indira Gandhi’s defiance against U.S. pressure in 1971, while slamming the BJP and RSS for “bowing under pressure.” The BJP hit back hard, with spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari branding Gandhi “uncivilized” and an “agent of Pakistan,” accusing him of undermining India’s response to terrorism.
