Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Sunday condoled the death of three students who died due to flooding in the basement of a coaching centre in Delhi’s Old Rajinder Nagar area. Calling it a "collective failure of the system", the Raebareli MP said the safety of every citizen is the responsibility of the governments.
"The death of competitive students due to waterlogging in the basement of a building in Delhi is very unfortunate. A few days ago, a student died due to electric shock during the rains. I express my heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families," the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said in a tweet.
