Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to attend the 17th Brics Summit. He landed at Galeo International Airport, marking the beginning of a two-leg visit to the country. The visit came at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Incio Lula da Silva. This is Prime Minister Modi’s fourth visit to Brazil. Apart from participating in the Brics Summit in Rio de Janeiro, he will also undertake a visit to the capital, Brasilia.
