Kishor attributes the loss to three main factors: the ruling NDA allegedly distributing cash for votes, the public’s fear of a return to ‘Jungle Raj’ under Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD, and suspicions of electoral malpractice, citing irregularities that he says do not add up, though he admits to having no proof. Kishor states, ‘It is possible that there was a lack of effort on my part, it is possible that I made a mistake, but I have not committed a crime’.
