BJP national working president Nitin Nabin is set to be elected as the party’s national president unopposed on January 20, with no other candidate expected to enter the fray. Nabin, the son of late BJP leader and former MLA Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, represents the Bankipur assembly constituency in Bihar and has served twice as a minister in the state government. With a background in the RSS, he is seen within the party as an organisationally rooted leader with strong ideological credentials, positioning him as a generational shift in the BJP’s top leadership.
